Going back to school as an adult is challenging on many levels and requires a lot of sacrifice. Finding the financial means to pay for tuition and books all while supporting yourself and possibly family as well is at the top of the list of challenges. Alejandra Mojica from WISE PR shared a bit of useful advice that she learned through her experience in going back to college as an adult. Here’s an excerpt:
Also consider going to a private college or university, says Alejandra Mojica, a 31-year-old public relations intern in San Francisco who is completing her Bachelor of Arts at the University of San Francisco. "Although the tuition is higher, they often have better financial aid packages, and other tuition assistance can be much easier to access than with public universities," says Mojica.
