The first ever FoodBytes! Brooklyn took place at The Hall at MP in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, in early March. FoodBytes! Brooklyn was the third event in the series that showcased new ideas in food, innovation, technology, and brought them together with investors. The previous two FoodBytes! events were held in San Francisco in 2015.
FoodBytes! Brooklyn was hosted by Rabobank, the world's premier bank in the food, agribusiness and beverage industry, along with partners SF New Tech, San Francisco's largest and longest-running tech showcase company (who produced the previous events), and Food + Tech Connect, the New-York based site of record and community for the food tech and innovation sector.

Entrepreneurs and investors gathered in New York in early March to test their appetite for agriculture technology - and for eco-friendly hors d’oeuvres like vegan “salmon.” Hosted by Netherlands-based Rabobank, the inaugural Brooklyn edition of the FoodBytes! networking event focused on food companies with a bent towards sustainability.
