Luma Partners, a New York/San Francisco-based boutique investment bank which gives strategic advice to media technologies companies, releases what it calls "LUMAscapes" or market maps for different segments of the Digital Media universe – including Display, Video, Mobile, Marketing Technology, Content/Native, Search, Social, Commerce and Gaming.
In fact, The LUMAscape is to adtech what the periodic table is to elements because understanding the ecosystem is essential for all constituents from marketers to agencies, publishers, tech intermediaries and investors.
Luckily for us, the folks at LUMA are committed to help foster better comprehension of the sector. In fact, they have identified an entire network of knowledge sources from a variety of disciplines (including PR) that can help with navigation of the digital landscape.
The Knowledge LUMAscape released late last week is Terrence Kawaja’s latest attempt to map these various knowledge sources and presents the key players in each discipline from Research, VC and Trade Associations to Publishers, Conferences, Recruiting and of course Public Relations.
We are honored to be included in the Knowledge LUMAscape. We are also proud of our track record in the Digital Media and Marketing Technology sector that got us here. It started back in 2005 when we launched Tremor Video, to representing Admeld through their acquisition by Google in 2011 to more recent successes such as LiveRail which was acquired by Facebook, 3Q Digital which was acquired by Harte Hanks and Yieldex which was acquired by AppNexus. Not many agencies can do what we do, and no other agency has had as much success in this sector as Wise PR. We appreciate the recognition and look forward to continued contributions to the Digital Media and Marketing Technology industries that we serve.
